I was looking for a new Botox provider in the city and my best friend recommended The Dental Standard. The office was very clean and easy to get to. A $10 spot hero across the street if you can’t find street parking. My entire experience was great. Front desk and all employees were very friendly. I saw Dr. Vlad and am always worried I’m going to a new place in fear they will try to upsell me more units than necessary. That was not the case here AT ALL. Dr. Vlad asked what kind of results I was looking for and I explained that I tend to go conservatively with my units. I don’t have any deep creases and this is more so preventative for now. I truly just wanted no forehead movement but I didn’t want that heavy brow feeling or the inability to make subtle brow movements. He listened and explained the units he would suggest for the results I wanted. I never once felt like I was being upsold for money. I ended up getting 24 units injected and I began seeing results on the third day. Now, two weeks have gone and I LOVE my results. This is my 2nd time at The Dental Standard and I want to say it’s been one of the best experiences. They are so professional, kind and made me feel so comfortable. Not only this but after taking my X-rays they sat with me and looked at every detail of my X-rays. The cleaning was so gentle but throrough and pain free and my teeth felt like a million bucks. This is the first time in my life I was happy about making another appointment for a check up. Thank you 🙏

I went to The Dental Standard for the first time this week, and I was very impressed by the practice. I was told by another dentist that I absolutely needed a root canal right away, but I wasn’t in pain so I wanted to get a second opinion. The manager was so nice and helpful on the phone and arranged for me to be seen the next morning by Dr. Vlad. When you come in you notice the place is decorated very nicely and looks professional. Both Dr. Vlad and his dental assistant made me feel very comfortable and I felt listened to as a patient. Although I usually get anxious from dental procedures, I really was as comfortable as I could have been under their care. It’s clear that Dr. Vlad stays on top of the research and knows his stuff. I felt confident in his work while he performed a pulp capping instead of rushing me to get a root canal right away. Everything he did was explained well. Great experience overall and I would definitely recommend this practice, and will definitely be coming back!

Very nice and comfortable office with very modern equipment. Front staff very kind and helpful, dental assistant, Mary, was great providing an explanation of the steps for the appointment and making me comfortable. Dr. Marissa was very relaxed and friendly, provided explanations of each step as she did the exam and cleaning. The summary along with all of the pictures taken during the exam was the most clear and interesting of any dental appointment I’ve had. Dr. Marissa also gave a great recommendation and plan for the additional work I’ll need done. I also really appreciated that she didn’t try to upsell me on work I could have done, something many dentists do to simply bill more. Highly recommend.
